Jaycee is at the Doctor's Office
Daddy Day-Care is in full force this morning. It's time to have Jaycee's ears checked so today is that day! Please Lord take care of my little girl. She is not to fond of the Doctor and she can't stand for anyone to touch her ears. Here is a picture from Daddy's new 'Crackberry'...

What a GREAT Day!!!
Today has been a wonderful day!! Addison Rae made it back home today!!! Praising Jesus for such a Blessed day. Thank You for all your prayers! The power of prayer is amazing...Addison is proof!!! If ya don't mind keep her in your prayers as she recovers...No fevers...great stats and a 'Perfect Heart'!
Me and the kiddos played around on the Wii tonight. Had a blast.

Praising Him...Keep the Prayers Coming

Addison is back in Recovery. She looks great. She is not wearing any oxygen at this time. Dr. White clipped her tongue with no issues. When I walked in I could see her tongue touching her upper lip-awesome! Dr. Bandisode said that her lung pressures were great. She said that Addison's heart looks awesome-a perfect heart. There was 3mm of scar tissue in the stent in her decending aorta. The stent placed in the summer was 7mm in diameter so she did have a significant blockage. She ballooned the stent which pressed the scar tissue into the stent. Dr. Bandisode was surprised how quick the scar tissue grew. She expects to continue having heart caths every six months for this tissue. Addison may need to have a 'roto rooter' in the stent at some point but it could not have to be done until her next heart surgery-hopefully at three years old and thirty pounds. Addison is waking up and Nana and Papa are with her now. We are spending the night in room 777-doesn't God like that number????

Prayer Request for Addison
Today they received word that Our precious Addison will go back to Charleston this coming Wednesday (2/17/2010) for her Sedated Echo. She will have this procedure done in the 'Cath Lab' so that if the doctors need to perform a cath they can. We all know her history in the 'Cath Lab'...though this is a sterile place and while she is sedated they will go ahead and clip her tongue as well.
I come to you as a friend and fellow Warrior asking you to join me in prayer for Addison, her family as well as the Doctors & Nurses. This is a day they knew was coming, but I don't think they were expecting it to come so soon. I pray for Our Lord to ease their minds and fill all of them with the confidence they need to make it through this next 'adventure'!!

I wanted to Share...
This is one the best explanations. We all wonder many, many, many times over WHY?
God's Cake
Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation! A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.
Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your cake."
"Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers.
"Yuck" says her daughter.
"How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!"
"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?"
"Mom, those are all yucky!"
To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! "
God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

Today is a great day! We all 'WII Fitted' it this morning. Jaycee woke up asking to go to Cathy's house...so she called & they came and got her. Jaybird wanted to stay @ his weekend home down @ MawMaw's house. Jason and I came to Charlotte to see the Ultimate KartingChampionship. Ernie and Pam Pennigton came with us. It was a GREAT show. Sure was nice seeing all of our Go~Kart friends.

Snow Dayz, January 2010
So it has been a couple days since I have ‘blogged’. We had a wonderful weekend. It snowed here this past weekend so of course the kids (including me, Jason and PawPaw) were beside our selves.
Friday:
Jason picked Jay up from Mrs. Ashley’s and then they came by the house to get me to go to town to pick of Jaycee…It was snowing but had not started sticking on the roads yet so we decided we were going to grab a bite to eat at our favorite place to eat…Bonco’s. Jay would not go with us. He insisted he was going to stay @ MawMaw’s and wait for it to snow enough to go sledding. So of course, when we got home he was all suited up and ready to go. We played for a little while, then PawPaw came home and him and Jay…Got’r Done! They were having so much fun. Here’s some pictures:
Saturday:
So by Saturday morning the ground is covered.
Jason got up early and him being the ‘Big Kid’ that he is he gave him and the dog a bath and to town they went. He just had to get out and see the roads/snow. Jaycee woke up about 8:30ish ready to hit the hills. (Jay spent the night with MawMaw) Jason brought in breakfast, so we ate breakfast and then Jason and Jaycee went to town to get something for Jason’s truck and some oil for my truck…That still HAS NOT been put in my truck. Maybe if I put MW Clearing and Grading on the side of my truck he will take some interest in it. Anyhow, When they got back from town & we were all bundled up we went to MawMaw’s to go sledding. We had saved a car hood to use for sledding…let me tell ya…It Rocked. PawPaw came out and played with us for a little while. Here are a few pictures from Saturday Morning…
After lunch we went to the Moorhead’s to play…Jaycee stayed at MawMaw’s to take a nap. I stayed in with the babies and Angela…I don’t have ‘snow’ clothes and I knew once I got wet I would be done for the day. Jay, Elijah, Jason, Patrick, Will, Sam and Jennifer had a ball!!! They stayed out there till about 9:30ish that night.

Sunday:
There wasn't much snow left...for sledding anyhow. We did manage to get a little sleddin' time in.
That sums up the snow weekend. Jay was out of School Monday due to the snow…He went to Granny’s house with Jaycee then Papa (Jason’s Dad) came and got him to give Granny a break from both kids.
They are saying we could get a wintery mix this weekend…
Hope all the Okies have power now…They had a rough winter storm.
Please keep the Wilson Family as well as the Johnson Family in your prayers as they are coping with the death of their son’s. They have some long roads ahead of them. Thanks in Advance for these prayers! Until next time…Take Care!
